What kind of tracks do you use? |
We only use IHRA or NHRA 1/4 mile tracks.

What does it really mean, "Guaranteed payouts"?
We have the cash on hand when we open the gates to meet the guaranteed payout. That's typically set at six racers in a class. Exhibition classes are used to gage the interest in something new. Then we guarantee the payout at just four racers. We want people who drive several hundred miles or live in the same county to know exactly what to expect from the race. We also don't want you to worry about a low turnout resulting in no or little payout.
"I got enough trophies, what else you got"?
We're possibly going to try something new for many classes (SET,PET,SIDX,PIDX SB) . You can, optionally, get points towards "valuable prizes" with each Win/RU. Even with one race you can get something cool or save them up for a new BMW (requires 1000 wins . . just kidding about the BMW). Stay tuned!

"What's available for someone who hasn't raced much or at all?
We have four classes where you "can get your feet wet in racing".
Stock ET bracket class, is a money class where you simply dial-in your expected time and then go for it. The maximum Dial in is low and allowed modifications to the bike are minimal. Check past results.
1/8 mile heads-up Super Sport (SS) for stock bikes with in-line triples and fours under 1050cc or V-twins under 1350cc.
1/8 mile Street VROD ** for stock VRODS with little modifications.
1/8 mile Street Racer ** for stock V-TWINS with little modifications, four laps, no eliminations.
** four laps, no eliminations

What is the difference between the types of Championships?
We've created three ways to win a championship.
Points classes are won by accumulating points based on each races results. Points style is used for Pro-ET and Street index (9.50).
In a Tournament style class, you become eligible to race in the Championship race by getting a WIIN/RU/Semi in any race. Then at the season finals, all eligible racers will run for the series Championship. Entry fee is normal but payout for the winner is "enhanced " for the tournament finals. The tournament style is used for Street-ET and Pro-IDX (9.0).
In the Top Qualifer Championship, you earn points for Qualifying. These are either new or classes with historicaly low turnouts. Normaly, the small turnout doesn't justify elimiations. Top Qualfier classes have a nice end of season payout. The top qualifer at each individual event also ets a payout. There is a minimum of 12 points required to receive an end of seaon payout. Heavy Hitter and Pro-Open are Top Qualifer Championships.
Champions get a jacket and a plaque. Championship Payout will depend on sponsorships of the class. |
What does it mean "other series are eligible for the tournament style championship"?
We have a lot of friends running other events. We also have some car series that asked us to work with them in creating some bike classes. To that end, we are allowing the WIN/RU/Semi at those races, to be eligible for our tournament championship. This will include the Motorcycle Shootout at San Antonio, Mass Connection's King of the TRACK races and maybe more to come. Naturally they can't have these classes at each race, but watch for details.

Don't be shy. Your favorite shop wants to grow and may have no idea how much is happening with our series. Your local shop can be Top Qualifier or TNT sponsor for any one event. Local dealers/shops can be team sponsors, series supporters or full class sponsors. There's something at every level of budget. Let them know! Have them contact us.
